CFF's extensive portfolio of research and survey equipment includes: remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), stationary and towed underwater optical survey equipment, dredges, and nets. Our survey gear can be equipped with temperature and depth sensors, tilt sensors, and tensiometers.

Baited Underwater Video (BUV) Systems
CFF built two BUV frames that can be equipped with stereo cameras, underwater lights, and temperature/depth sensors. Each frame has a bait box located 1 meter in front of the cameras. CFF has used our BUV systems to survey blueline and golden tilefish in the Mid-Atlantic, correlating presence in images to catch from commercial vessels.
